This morning I finished my St. Brigid's Carnamoyle Stockings. Great pattern and worked up quickly on worsted weight yarn. I used Bamboo Ewe by Red Heart and the color is Mermaid. Unfortunately I did not read the care instructions so these socks are hand wash/dry flat - hopefully I can remember that otherwise they will be past on to one of the grand kids.
I might have been able to finish them last night but I was watching the Packer game. At the start of the game my tension was too tight then towards the end of the 2nd quarter were missed stitches and by well into the second half too much celebrating to concentrate - best not to knit.
I am making progress on my 2 at a time on 2 circular socks. I am half way through knitting the heel flap. Still a little fumbling with the needles and having to use the point protectors to keep tract of which needles I am working on. Wished I would have matched the striping when I started but it is easier to keep track of which yarn to use for which sock with the color difference. My goal is to finish by the end of the month.
And for my Packers - awesome game last night - you all Rock!
