This morning I finished the borders on the Charm Quilt. The fabrics I ordered from Connecting Threads, it's from the fabric line called 'Good Afternoon.' I really like the colors of this quilt - simple but colorful.
I played around with EQ7 to use up the extra fabric and came up with the Sawtooth Star Quilt which is inspired by some of the preloaded designs in the software. The Pinwheel in the center of the Star block will be made from the bonus squares from the charm block corners. I plan on using Eleanor Burns technique for the Flying Geese which should make this a pretty quick and easy quilt to put together.
I'm will try to finish this quilt before it hits 2012 UFO Challenge.
