Design Floor Monday

After taking almost a month off from sewing I am regenerated and ready to sew again.  I have 2 WIP on my cutting table to choose from - Orca Bay and RRCB.
I decided to work on my Orca Bay and I am making some good progress on it.  I had most of the Ohio Star blocks together along with the blue and red strip pieces before my break.  I needed to get my Flying Geese blocks together before I started to assemble the quilt.  Now seeing a 1/4th of the quilt coming together I hope this will keep me mortivated to continue on.
The only thing that may interrupt my progress is I have 2 more quilts in my head I want to do - in fact I already bought the fabric for one of them.
Oh please - someone keep me focused, my cutting table can only hold 2 WIP!

Happily sewing along,
Mary

My Only April Finish

Pretty sad - the only project I completed for April was a pair of socks and these I started on the 15th.
The socks were for Loopy Ewe's Second Quarter Challenge and the pattern is called Repeat Performance from the Knit Purl Hunter.  The yarn is a cotton yarn (required fiber type for the challenge) from Crystal Palace Yarns - Panda Cotton and the color is Tropical Peach.

Now that I have had my break from quilting I am regenerated and have started working on my Orca Bay quilt and hopefully I can finish the top in May.

Back to the Sewing Machine!
